Chants (or how memorizing helps learning a second language)

Is memorization in itself a tool that enhances the learning of a second language? Hitherto, these tools, for the new education trends, seem to us a little out-dated. Nevertheless, we can’t underestimate their efficiency.
Magic Dragon’s project combines the most recent learning technics with traditional teaching methods. Chants can help children in many ways. The first and essential one is the fact that the children, in a playful and unconscious way, interiorize grammatical patterns that they will have to use spontaneously in other contexts. The easiest way to learn these patterns is repetition, as long as they are taught in a fun way. The second reason is that the chants we work on involve cultural immersion.
