As a part of the implementation along the school of the Cooperative learning project, in Preschool we work on mind maping as a crucial tool to reach the objetives this program pretends to get to. A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. It is often created around a single concept in the center of a blank page, It helps kids to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and also is an aid to solving problems and making decisions. Those are the main reasons why mind maping is a great tool in the Cooperative learning process. At the same time, it involves Visual-Spatial Inteligence.

During Magic Dragon Unit 5 , five-years-old children have been working on "Animals and their habitats". You will see that a mind map is an excellent way for students to embrace concepts and ideas. In this video, Rocio asks Jimena about animals and their different habitats. Let's have a look!
